The Electoral Board informs of the extension of office hours for Graduates estate enrollment procedures

This body has announced the location where it will be functioning within the University and what the channels and forms of presentation will be.

Procedure that can be carried out through the entry offices of each Academic Unit until 8:00 p.m. at all Academic Units. (According to Resolution No. 01/2025-JE.-).

The 2025 Electoral Board of the UNSJ, recently formed, informs the university community about the communication channels and forms that will be enabled to carry out the procedures corresponding to the next elections of the University.

The mentioned Board will be functioning in the basement of the Rectorate central building (Mitre St No. 396 East).

1- Formal communication will be carried out through the following email: juntaelectoralunsj2025@gmail.com

2- The dates for the presentation of provisional rolls by the academic units of the UNSJ are:

• 11/4, Friday, until 12:00 p.m. closing of the provisional roll for the Graduates estate.
• 15/4, Friday, from 09:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. presentation of the provisional roll for the Graduates estate through the Electoral Board's Entry Office.
• 25/4, Friday, from 09:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. presentation of the provisional rolls for the Teaching, Non-Teaching and Student estates, through the Electoral Board's Entry Office.

3- Formalities and mode of presentation of rolls to be complied with by the Academic Units of the UNSJ:

Digital format (Excel) that must be sent to the EB email and presented printed on A4 paper, through the EB entry office. They must comply with the format sent to the academic units, otherwise they will be considered as not presented (seven columns, last name and first name in different columns and ID numbers without periods).

General Elections 2025

The Electoral Board assumed and elected its authorities

Ana Laura García is the president, Fabiana Guerrero the secretary and Eduardo Atienza the treasurer.

As part of the calendar planned for the General University Elections, the members of the Electoral Board that will handle the entire process assumed duties today. Representatives of the teaching, non-teaching, student and graduate estates received their respective certificates and a copy of the resolution and then met for the first time to elect their authorities.

By a show of hands, it was determined that Ana Laura García will be the president, while Fabiana Guerrero remained as secretary and Eduardo Atienza as treasurer. Next, the Board dedicated itself to debating other topics, such as meeting day, place and time, to begin working.

During the delivery of certificates, the rector and president of the Superior Council, Tadeo Berenguer, addressed those present to "thank and congratulate the Board, formed by the Superior Council at the end of last year. This Board is in charge of supervising the entire process, for which we thank the commitment assumed and leave this responsibility in your hands, which will allow for the guarantee of all participation rights of the members of the university community."

Elections will be on June 11

Renewal of authorities

The inauguration of new authorities will be on July 1, 2025. In its last session of 2024, the Superior Council approved the formation of the Electoral Board and the schedule to follow for this year.

As provided by the University Statute, the UNSJ Superior Council approved in its last session of last year the formation of the Electoral Board that will handle the general elections of the year 2025, as well as the Electoral Calendar, which will begin with the inauguration of the Board on April 3, 2025.

Upon proposals from the different estates, the people who will be part of the Electoral Board are the following:

For the teaching estate: Ana Laura García, Federico Sambrizzi, Fabiana Guerrero, Enrique Daniel Moya, María Eugenia Álvarez and Myriam Beatriz Herrrera.

For the non-teaching estate: Eduardo Atienza, Teresa Elisa González, Orlando Emanuel Garin, Esteban Ferrari, María Amelia Ojeda, Fernando Gabriel Pérez.

For the graduate estate: Juan Carlos Ramis, Alberto Videla, Paula Cortez, María Inés Lecich, Pablo Pereira Samper, Renzo Muñoz, Analía Mereles, Mariana Castro, Lisandro Jácome, Carlos Chifel, Gonzalo Romero, Ezequiel Ruiz.

The Electoral Calendar, as already stated, will begin with the inauguration of the Electoral Board on April 3, 2025. The presentation of lists and formulas of candidates and alliances will be on May 23, 2025, while the Officialization will be on June 7.

The electoral act was fixed for June 11 in the first round. In case a second round is necessary, it will take place on June 23. The inauguration of the new authorities will be on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
